Participatory topological mapping in West Taiga

Yesterday, on March 6, the RHR project team visited the Western Taiga, where they met with Erdenekhuyag Bayar and Unursaikhan Gorshi. In the framework of the project reindeer herders participated in a session of participatory topological mapping and took part in a discussion inside the urts (traditional Dukha dwelling) about the future of reindeer husbandry.
